Pacific Building Maintenance is built on the principle of providing quality and reliable services in a personal and trusted manner.

On New Year's Day 1980, a young and free-spirited California man began cleaning Smitty's Bar in Sausalito.  Today---almost 30 years later-- Robin Clark, owner of Pacific Building Maintenance, is still on the scene and heads up a loyal,tenured group of employees. "We still provide nightly janitorial service to Smitty's Bar---that's something we're proud of!"

"Our company has gone from that guy with a floor machine in the back of his van, to owning an established, fully insured and reputable service company in Southern Marin.  For a dozen years, we serviced the Hard Rock Cafe - San Francisco on a nightly basis.    In the late 90's, we found ourselves being replaced by in-house janitors and "fly by night" companies who could offer a cheaper price," explained Clark.  But today, Pacific Building Maintenance has achieved a good balance in being large enough to offer a professional and fully insured service, but remaining manageable to offer a one-on-one relationship with most of their clients.   "Trust is important," explains Clark.  "If we are trusted, the communication is clear and everyone shares the same goal:  mutual and complete satisfaction!"
